Friday 13th and the Tarot Card

It's Friday the 13th. Finally, I wait all year for this day. I've told you before how lucky Friday the 13th is for me, so I won't repeat myself. Instead, let's look at the 13th card of the Tarot, Death.

In the Major Arcana of the Tarot, the 13th card is Death. Contrary to popular fear, when upright this card signifies transformation, endings, and rebirth rather than literal death. When reversed, it may indicate stagnation, upheaval, decay, or resistance to change.

Despite its ominous reputation in superstition, thirteen holds a positive and powerful role in esoteric traditions. It is regarded as the number of mystical manifestation and cosmic law.

The teachings of Jesus are framed around the formula 1 + 12 (Christ plus the apostles), producing thirteen. According to Pythagorean philosophy, one added to twelve creates an unlimited number, symbolising transcendence beyond completion. Through this principle, miracles—such as the multiplication of loaves and fishes—are said to occur.

Thirteen represents an all-or-nothing law of destiny:

  • Death through failure and degeneration
  • Rebirth through regeneration and transformation

It is also the sacred number of the Great Goddess, reflected in the thirteen lunar cycles of the year.

Esoteric vs. Exoteric (Defined Using a Boxing Analogy)

Esoteric vs. Exoteric, the fight of the century.

Esoteric Boxer

In this corner, we have Esoteric, with her  knowledge that is meant for a small, private, or inner circle of people. She comes from the Greek word “esōterikos,” meaning “inner.” Relating to or designating knowledge that is meant for a small, private, or inner circle of people. Historically associated with secret societies, religious sects, and philosophical movements. Examples: Gnostic teachings, Kabbalah in Jewish mysticism, and Sufism within Islam. Requires a deeper, often initiatory, understanding. Often seen in specialized fields or practices where in-depth knowledge is required. Not openly shared or accessible to the general public. To maintain the purity and sanctity of certain teachings, keeping them away from those not deemed ready or worthy.

Exoteric Boxer

Her opponent, Exoteric, pertains to outward things; suitable for the public or masses. Derived from the Greek word “exōterikos,” meaning “outer.” Often associated with public-facing religious teachings or broadly accepted cultural norms. Mainstream religious practices, public educational systems, and commonly accepted societal norms. Meant for the general public without the need for special initiation or training. Information is straightforward and doesn’t require significant prior knowledge. Accepted and understood by a broad audience. To provide knowledge and understanding that’s accessible and easily shared across a wide audience.

Let the fight begin!

Ding, ding, ding.

Winner by default, Exoteric!

Has anyone seen Esoteric? Where'd she go?

Paracelsus As Seen by Academia - Film

The God-Fearing Paracelsus left us some good stories. In this college film played for students of medicine in the 60's, two things are apparent: 1. They were a lot smarter when it came to literature for they quote "Faust," and 2. Operations haven't changed much, a little more automated, but basically the setup.

Roger Bacon 101

Roger Bacon was rich. So we know his story. Please take a moment now and think about all the other esoterics of his day, who because they weren't rich, we know them not. Now on with the poop on this guy.

Roger Bacon was born about 1214, and he grew up wanting to be a teacher. He went to Oxford University in England; and after obtaining his degree, he became a teacher on the staff of the University of Paris in the 1240’s.

The writings of the Greek thinker Aristotle had been lost to Europe for over ten centuries and had recently been rediscovered.  Bacon had studied Aristotle at Oxford and became very excited.  He believed that Aristotle was a great thinker, and he taught his students in Paris about Aristotle’s writings.

During this time, Bacon was also working with light rays and lens and doing many chemistry experiments.  His experiments were based on some things that Aristotle had written about, but these experiments were not working out. He discovered that on many topics the famous and honored Aristotle was wrong.  Years of hard work based on some of Aristotle’s false teachings had to be thrown away. Perhaps worse was his realization that he had sent students out into the world with false knowledge.

Bacon was very disappointed at having wasted so much effort by trusting Aristotle.  Although much of Aristotle’s writing was correct, the errors made it risky to trust anything.  Bacon began struggling with the problem of how to make knowledge trustworthy.

Bacon first decided that there was something fundamentally wrong in the way people judged what was true and false.  In Bacon’s day, people believed that arguing logically could prove the truth.  Everyone thought Aristotle’s arguments were logically correct so they judged Aristotle to be writing the truth.  But Bacon knew, from his failed laboratory work, that Aristotle was wrong about many things he had written – even though Aristotle had very good rational arguments to support his views.

Bacon also studied other respected writers and found many to be wrong.  When he tried to discover what had led these men astray in their writings, he came up with four central reasons for their errors – the four stumbling blocks to truth.

Some were wrong because they had relied on a supposed “expert” who was wrong.

Some were wrong because they relied on popular opinions or beliefs that were wrong.

Others were wrong because they just wanted things to agree with their pet ideas and to conceal their ignorance through pride.

And lastly and most dangerous, some were wrong because they had believed in a logical argument.

These four sources of error were to be avoided at all costs.  It is ironic that Aristotle had espoused these very points two thousand years earlier (and they are still taught today in courses in rhetoric) as the best strategies to use in winning a debate or in persuading an audience by oratory.  Sadly, Aristotle’s stated goal, however, was merely to persuade the listener – not to find Truth.

Bacon now set out to devise a systematic way of judging whether a statement was true or false and thereby obtain trustworthy knowledge.  Bacon believed that “seeing might be believing” for experiments in his laboratory, but he was even unsure about whether personal bias could sneak in unsuspectingly to sway one’s observations.  Therefore, Bacon said that several people (the more the better) should do the experiment separately and independently to see if they all got the same results.  If many different people in different places at different times could do the same experiment and get the same results, then personal bias should be ruled out.  What was seen and duplicated in the laboratory could be considered to be true.  He wrote up his experiments in detail and had his students try to repeat them before he would trust the results.

Bacon summarized his belief clearly:  “Neither the voice of authority nor the weight of reason and argument are as significant as experiments from which come peace to the mind.”

Bacon’s ideas threatened a number of the powerful teachers of his day, and he was forbidden to continue his experiments or work on his books. He sent a copy of his preliminary work to the Pope, Clement IV, who liked Bacon’s ideas and wanted to see more. The Pope liked Bacon’s view that by observing creation, one learned more about God. It is not clear whether Bacon had to continue his work in secret or whether Clement ordered that Bacon be allowed to continue his work.  In any case, Bacon did continue his work.

It is believed that some time after Clement died, Bacon, his protector now gone, was imprisoned for his outspoken criticisms of current beliefs because there is a complete absence of any record of Bacon’s activity from 1279 to 1289.  His last work dates from about 1292 and is incomplete.  We assume that he died then at the age of about 72.

It is difficult to accurately assess Bacon’s influence in bringing about that revolutionary period in human thought – the Renaissance – that began several hundred years after his death.  Whether his work was widely influential or whether the “scientific method” was independently rediscovered really makes no difference in judging the greatness of the man himself.  His ethical standards in science and his relentless pursuit of truth stand as a beacon to inspire us all to the utmost in keen, objective observation and scrupulous honesty in all of our undertakings.

The Blood Moon,

If you've been reading EsotericDaily.com over the last fifteen years, you know I love moons. All moons. And so I've written about men on the moon, a Snow Moon, a Fake Moon, a Blue Moon, a Black Moon, the Super Moon, and of course, being Mooned by a Gargoyle -- to name a few.  The moon I want to talk about today is today's Blood Moon, for it really is a continuation of the year of the Fire Horse which is going to change everything.

So what is a Blood Moon?  Simply stated, it is the total eclipse of the moon from Earth which happens because the Earth blocks all direct sunlight from falling onto the lunar surface, and so the Moon takes on a reddish color.

The Incan Empire which was a vast South American empire that flourished from the early 15th century A.D. until its conquest by the Spanish in the 1530s, called their Moon goddess Mama Quilla and thought that she cried silver tears. They believed the Blood Moon was caused by an animal or serpent attacking Mama Quilla. Their custom was to try to scare away the Blood Moon  by making as much noise as possible.

The world’s earliest civilizations believed the Moon was being attacked during a Blood Moon, and so figured that their king was being assaulted as well, and they protected their king by hiding him and installing a substitute ruler. When the total eclipse had passed, their king emerged from hiding and resumed his position as ruler.

The Christians figured it was a sign of the return of Jesus;

"And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the Earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness. And the moon into blood,
Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord – King James Bible, Joel 2:30"

According to Joel 2:30, Jesus might be coming back tomorrow(?) but I doubt this because I think he is already here in Donald Trump who has the support of the Christian church like no other president ever.

How can we forget our beautiful Pagans, who believed the The Blood Moon carried powerful spiritual meanings, which announced a time of endings, deep transformation, and rebirth.

Historically, both solar and lunar eclipses were often seen with awe or fear. They were sometimes read as omens of death, upheaval, or the fall of rulers, while in other traditions they were woven into myth as celestial battles. Here’s a look at how some cultures and religions felt about them.Norse mythology: Eclipses were explained as the wolves Sköll and Hati chasing the Sun and Moon. When they caught their prey, an eclipse occurred.

Although there are many traditions regarding a Blood Moon, the common factor is they all believe it brings hidden truths to the surface and closes cycles that are no longer meant to continue; which brings me back to the Year of the Fire Horse which will make this year the most interesting ever.  Yes, ever.

Hold on to your seats boys and girls, all we can do at this point is howl.

Kant Starts Here

Here is a brief overview of Immanuel Kant, warning, this is some deep shit.

Immanuel Kant, German Philosopher (1724-1804) and Professor of Philosophy at the University of Koneisberg, was a key figure in the period referred to as the German Enlightenment. In addition to his philosophical treatises, Kant wrote extensively on the theory of the heavens, origins of the planetary systems, effects of the tides upon the earth's rotation, causes of earthquakes, volcanoes on the moon, and other subjects. His treatise on eternal peace formed the basis for the United Nations Charter. Although he was raised Lutheran, he rejected conventional doctrine early in life and regarded independent spiritual integrity as the highest form of morality. In contrast to his brilliant intellect and Prussian rigidity, Kant confessed to moments of passive contemplation and listened to the music of the spheres on numerous occasions.

Kant suggested that humans have two basic ways of knowing, a priori and a posteriori. These two kinds of knowledge are key to the development of human consciousness, instrumental in the pursuit of a moral and constructive state of being—which Kant calls "Pure Reason." Kant's "Noumenal Principle," what we might call the unknowable, is that which is beyond experience but somehow involved in it—something like Madame Blavatsky's "unutterable" or Thoreau's "impersonal spectator." According to Kant, a priori knowledge emerges from this Noumenal Principle, this "unknowable." It is, in effect, a representative of the Noumenal Principle deep within the human consciousness. And it recognizes a "voice from afar," independent of human experience as we know it. It precedes human experience and serves as a sort of judge and jury (conscience). This is also what Carl Jung would latter call "The Collective Consciousness.

For Kant, it is possible for human beings to remain largely unaware of the a priori knowledge available to them. Manifestation of a priori knowledge is dependent in part upon Time, or the readiness (precision) to manifest, and Space, or the direction of its influence. It is also dependent upon moral development. People who adhere to certain moral principles allow a priori knowledge to unfold into consciousness and become available for use—much as etheric energies blend, by way of chakras, into electromagnetic states the body can use.

There are four "moral principles," and they are:

1. Transcendental Aesthetic: The concept of innate goodness, metaphysical transcendence motivates the use of a priori knowledge and also becomes the modus operandi for its use.

2. Synthetic Judgment: a deductive process by which one can move the a priori toward its objective. this is the moment of enlightenment. Kant declares that a sense of "revelation" furthers synthetic judgment and opens the way to wisdom.

3. Intuition: this is spiritual awareness and the understanding of one's own powers.

4. Descending Will: This can be defined as "action," by which one makes use of Time and Space to develop the will to enter the exalted state of Pure Reason.

For Kant, a posteriori knowledge, or knowledge gained by experience, is a product of the Phenomenal Principle. It is exoteric, shadowed by the world of sense perception, and regulated to a large extent by the basic instincts of Experience and Assimilation. These two represent the physical exposure to the elemental realities of the corporeal world and an intellectual growth of the world as it is -- I told you this shit is heavy.

Finally, the pragmatic value of Kant's philosophy lies in its exploration of the relationship between Thought, a well-adjusted thinking process and attitude, and Action, rational behavior under all circumstances. Immanuel Kant might leave the esoteric mind somewhat unfulfilled, but we must realize the reactionary atmosphere at the time and place in which he made his ideas known. These ideas made a profound and expansive impact upon the somewhat crystallized boundaries of academic philosophy which resulted in the popular adage, "If you do not know Kant, you do not know Philosophy." Western philosophy and theology have been forced to acknowledge the basic fact of our incarnation and the sources of wisdom that lie therein.

Esoteric Beards

Beards have been a thing since COVID. I grew one then and still have it. So did many of you. Having a beard these days is really cool, the flag of a modern-day hipster, the remnants of an aging hippy. Although beards appear to be fashion, esoterically speaking, they are more, much more. Beards are part of what Carl Jung called our Collective Consciousness, and so let's look at this Collective Consciousness together.

Bearded Venus
Today we see beards on athletes, musicians, actors, etc. Visually, they are associated with aesthetic jews, the Sunnah beard (a beard worn in the tradition of the Prophet Muhammad), and of course the beatnik's of the 50's, hippies of the 60's, and Nirvana grunge of the 80's. These are the external, or exoteric, images we associate with a beard, but esoterically speaking beards were regarded by the ancients of the middle east as a token of wisdom and a sign of power. So much so that even some of the Great Goddesses of the early Mediterranean cultures were depicted with beards, including a number of Bearded Venuses in Greece.

In ancient Mesopotamia the beard was a mark of virility and many worth, and was carefully shaped and tended to give it distinction. Assyrian beards were meticulously arranged in tiers of circular curls stiffened with perfumed gum.

In Islamic countries the beard was considered the supreme badge of male dignity for the faithful. Traditionally all the prophets of old before the time of Muhammad. Speaking of Muhammad, in "The Beast Within," by Benjamin Walker, he quotes the honored profit as having said, "Do the opposite of the polytheists, and let your beard grow long." Walker also states that Muslims used to "swear by the beard of the Prophet, and consider it a great insult to have their beard pulled."

Yes, beards were a thing until Alexander the Great forbade his soldiers to grow beards because they provided a convenient handle for the enemy. After that shaving became the thing gentlemen did for centuries leaving beards for the priesthood and nobility.

In the reign of Elizabeth I there was a tax on beards in England. In Eastern Europe and especially Russia beards remained in vogue until Peter the Great decided to reform his country in line with western Europe and put a tax on beards and personally cut off beards of anyone he came across.

Besides being a sign of manliness the beard was often regarded as a sign of mature wisdom. It was even believed that stroking the beard assisted thought and deliberations. Hence, the gesture of stroking the beard was often satirized to signify an imminent pontifical utterance that turns out to be worthless.

It has been argued that the beard, being the attribute of a mature male, must require a considerable amount of male energy to help it grow. But when the beard is full grown, the energy normally diverted to grow it becomes available for virile purposes. The beard should therefore never be cut by anyone who wishes to preserve his manhood unimpaired.

Of courses, being a man who has grown a beard I call bullshit on the beard being anything but facial hair.  I mean, you never saw Buddha with a beard, did you?

Putting all I've written on beards aside, there is a very real coinkydink with beards and history that should scare us all, and that is how divided our country is today between Right and Left political beliefs.  It is a divide not seen since the Civil War (1861-1865) when the US was torn apart with bloodshed in this country we haven't seen since. Now, consider this fact as reported in Google Arts and Culture, that "The American Civil War (1861-1865) coincided with a rise in the popularity of men’s full facial hair during the mid-19th century. Contemporary photography captured men’s experimentation with an endless variety of styles, including mustaches, muttonchops, underbeards and sideburns. President Abraham Lincoln embraced the widespread trend himself when he grew his iconic beard in 1860."

Yes, brothers and sisters, all the masculine facial hair we see today, is a sign of the inevitable troubles to come if we don't come together as human race, and live together as one.

Manifest A New Future This New Year. You Have The Power.

It is New Year's Day, and I would like to share this positive message to start your year off, because, the only thing holding us back from obtaining what we desire in life, is us.

Jung wrote often on how the subconscious mind contains not only all the knowledge that it has gathered during the life of the individual, but that in addition it contains all the wisdom of past ages, and by drawing upon this wisdom and power we may possess any good thing of life, from health and happiness to riches and success.

By now, we all should know and believe that the subconscious mind is the connecting link between the Creator(s) and us, between the Universal Mind and our conscious mind, and between the Mystic Law and our inner treasures. It is the means by which we can appropriate to ourselves all the good gifts, all the riches and abundance that Universal Mind has created in such profusion.

Berthelot, the great French founder of modern synthetic chemistry, once stated in a letter to a close friend that the final experiments which led to his most wonderful discoveries had never been the result of carefully followed and reasoned trains of thought, but that, on the contrary, "they came of themselves, so to speak, from the clear sky."

Sir Isaac Newton is reported to have acquired his marvelous knowledge of mathematics and physics with no conscious effort. Mozart said of his beautiful symphonies "they just came to me." Descartes had no ordinary regular education. The evidence of this Mind over Matter is everywhere, and enough is known to warrant the conclusion that when the soul is released from its objective environment it will be enabled to perceive all the laws of its being. The question is, how do we do this?  How much time do I have to spend on my knees praying to the Creator(s) god(s) to obtain this?  How many pagan rituals do I need to master to obtain this, etc..

The simple and quickest way in my experience is to chant Nam-myoho-renge-kyo. After years of praying to a creator god, then sitting in crossed-legged meditation, and eventually four-candle Pagan rituals, I advanced to the secret to obtaining my earthly desires by simply chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo and obtaining the powers of the Mystic Law as promised in the Lotus Sutra.

So whatever that New Year's Resolution of yours is, manifest it now.

The Secret To Gambling

I've written about "Luck" before in my Joan of Arc post, but that was for the initiated, this is for the masses, and not for those faint-of-hearts who see gambling as a character flaw, for if you do see gambling as a flaw, please scroll to the next post, you won't enjoy this one.

Today I will talk about that recreational pass time that is helping millions of brainiacs like me survive today's spiritually-dead world with hard times coming for those of us at the bottom of the financial spectrum. But I'll save the political stuff for BlueSky.com, and stick here with my gambling-jones message for those like minds escaping the news, marriage, job... whatever. We gamble on today's legal "Daily Sports" games allowed almost everywhere, including Texas. So enough of my political sarcasm, and let's look at my gambling problem. Which, I might add, I know is a problem, so it really isn't a problem. That's how the shit works.

Being a Spiritual Buddhist, I know I won't win until I totally expect not to win. And knowing this sucks, because it has been almost two years since I won 3k on a Basketball Fantasy lineup. Back then I had reached a point where I was sure I wouldn't win any substantial amount and so picked my numbers recklessly, and I won! Now that I know I can win, I can't help but expecting to win again, and so I never will. It is so bad, I fear for the people I bet on.

Case in point, in tonight's Monday Night Football slate of two games on ESPN.COM, I've chosen Cooper Cup to be the highest point gainer of all receivers. The odds are in my favor according to NFL.com, and so you know what will happen? That's right, sorry Cooper, you will at best be doubled teamed all night, or will get hurt and leave the game. That's how my  gambling goes, and why you deserve the big-bucks you earn chasing a ball.

As a Buddhist, the things we desire are pushed away; and so if you wan't anything, don't desire it. It's harder than it seems.

And so I keep gambling thinking I will win big one day, and so I never will win big. I'm designed this way. Ask most winners of anything big in life and they will tell you they didn't desire it. They nonchalantly threw some dice as a joke, or picked a set of lottery numbers with no thought of really winning, and they won.

Yes, dear reader, this is the true secret of life.  So join us tomorrow to see if I'm right or wrong.

Signed,

Average Joe, AKA Eso Terry.

Moon Talk for Tonight's "Super Moon"

I have written about the different kinds of moons in the past, from the Snow Moon to a Black Moon,  and though all of them can be called "Super" in their own right, tonight is an official "Super Moon," so let's see what is so "Super" about it.

Firsth, the moon doesn’t orbit Earth in a perfect circle—it follows a stretched, egg-shaped path. That means there are times each month when the moon is a little closer to Earth, a point called perigee, and times when it is farther away, at apogee. At perigee, the moon can be about 356,000 kilometers away, while at apogee it can retreat to more than 406,000 kilometers.

When a full moon coincides with the time of perigee, we get a supermoon—a lunar disk that appears slightly larger and shines more brightly than usual. Compared with the farthest full moon, a supermoon can appear up to 14 percent bigger and 30 percent brighter. Against an average full moon, the difference is closer to 7 percent larger and 15 percent brighter. To the naked eye, the change may seem subtle, but side-by-side photos reveal just how striking the effect truly is.

Supermoons aren’t rare—we typically see a few each year. At the time I am writing this, October 2025, we will see a streak of three consecutive full moons lining up with perigee. This happens because the timing of perigee slowly drifts relative to the lunar phases, completing a full cycle about every 14 lunar months. Sometimes that cycle means only one full moon is close enough to qualify as “super.” Other times, like now, the alignment is just right to produce a run of three in a row.

Yes, moon gazers, the world is changing, and this year's Super Moon is ushering the greatest change since WW2.  So be sure to gaze up at the sky tonight because this cosmic party will continue into 2026 as January 3 will be next year’s first supermoon, which technically means we are about to witness four back-to-back supermoons.

Is it any wonder so many people are predicting the return of Jesus.  Is it any wonder that it would be an astrologial event to see it in, since many of us believe that Jesus is the story of the Sun itself.

Anyway, here is a refresher on the different names of the moons:

The ”harvest moon“ of October takes its name from the final weeks of the agricultural season in the Northern Hemisphere. Before electricity, farmers relied on its extended light—rising close to sunset for several nights in a row—to gather crops late into the evening.

November’s ”beaver moon“ was noted by Native American communities as the season when beavers prepared for winter by repairing lodges and building dams. It also marked the time when trappers set out before rivers froze, tying the moon to both animal behavior and human industry.

December’s “cold moon“ signals the arrival of long nights and deep winter across the Northern Hemisphere. Rising during the holiday season, it has long been seen as a beacon against the year’s darkest days.

WHAT WILL WE SEE IN THE NIGHT SKY?

The size difference between an ordinary full moon and a sup

UFO, Mars, Donald Trump Hitler 13 Moons Connection

Elon Musk's Spaceship Now In Space... Really!

Hold on to your seats boys and girls, you are in for an Esoteric ride today. First up, Mars is back in the news. That's right, there once was life on Mars. Who knew? We did!

According to a recent AP post: New findings by NASA Mars rover provide strongest hints yet of potential signs of ancient life.

I've written before about how Mars was the Earth before Global Warming, and it seems we will make the same mistake again and destroy yet another planet with greed, and those with money will escape with the help of Space Captain, Elon Musk. I've linked to the post where I wrote about how the Wealthy Oligarch Climate Change Deniers, must think that they will be able to escape our planet or surely they wouldn't be destroying it? Or would they? In that previous post I called it their "Noah's Ark Built by Elon Musk." You might want to check that out

The news today about Mars was more "evidence of microbes on Mars,"which means life. And so we here at EsotericDaily.com will keep our eyes open for you, because, along with the Life On Mars news, there is also another UFO sighting!

According to our friends at CBS. ABC, etc., in their "Reaction to shocking video of U.S. missile" report, we are shown a radar-tracking image of a U.S. drone missile bouncing off whatever it is was that we were shooting at off the coast of Yemen last year. (Please watch the video version of today's post to see the footage.)

Yes, more UFOs proof, plus more Life on Mars news, equals:  Disclosure. Yes, disclosure is close, and if I may get a little political, we have the right man in office to let us know what is going on, President Donald Trump. Who, as I have recently reported, I am supporting now because it looks like he was right about everything, and as I write this post today, the economy is good, stocks are at a record high, and some really bad people have been deported. So I support this president Trump, who coincidentally, I might add for my Pagan friends, was born on June 14, 1946, exactly 13 moons after April 30, 1945, the day Hitler died.

Is Donald Trump the reincarnation of Adolf Hitler? Very possible; fortunately for us, however, Trump has stated that "Hitler did some good things," and in a democratic country where the people have power, Trump would be a fool to attempt the bad things Hitler did. I mean, it would be the end of the world as we know it, and I don't think Elon's escape plan is ready yet... Or is it?

Plato's Atlantis Found, Again!

This is another lost city of Atlantis update. I've written about this before, but this one seems different, and comes from a report by our friends at The Daily Mail, UK.  They write how Michael Donnelley says he found similar structures as those written in Plato's writings, off the coast of Spain.

These discoveries, including underwater structures and sediment-covered sites indicating sudden destruction, align with Plato’s accounts of climate, societal structures, and ancient mythologies, providing a comprehensive context for their claims.

Donnellan spent eight years investigating the coast of Cadiz using an advanced sonar system used for high-resolution seafloor mapping, creating detailed 3D images of the underwater environment.

The technology revealed long linear structures etched across the ocean floor, which formed a series of enormous concentric circular walls, each standing more than 20 feet tall and arranged in an organized pattern.

So now that we've found Atlantis, let's find Plato's Cave so we can get out of this place.

 ~~ Eso Terry

Here is another Atlantis story from 2019 I posted.

In case you missed the news, the lost continent of Atlantis has been found.

Plato wasn't bullshitting when he spoke of the land called Atlantis, where a mighty empire vanished beneath the waves after a series of “excessively violent earthquakes and floods.”

Douwe van Hinsbergen, a geologist at Utrecht University in the Netherlands, has been exploring one of the most dramatic of these lost continents — known as Greater Adria. In a paper published in September 2019, in the journal Gondwana Research, he and his colleagues studied rocks around and beneath the Mediterranean Sea to reveal the full extent of Greater Adria for the first time. “It’s enormous! About the size and rough shape as Greenland,” he says.

If you don’t recall seeing Greater Adria on a map, there’s a reason for that. It is completely buried — not under the ocean, but beneath southern Europe. About 140 million years ago, the two continents began to collide. Greater Adria got bulldozed and buried in the process and mostly sank beneath what is now Italy, Greece and the Baltics.

So pull out your crystals boys and girls, because from Plato to Edgar Casey to Isaac Asimov people have been telling us about the lost city of Atlantis, where everyone was rich and took care of each other.  Funny, how the finding of this continent comes at a time when "Climate Change," "Over Population," and "Greed" have given us a distressed world where people are killing people for fame and "hate-thy-neighbor" is on the tongue of most nations.

So, what am I saying here?

Simple:  change is a coming, a good, happy, New Atlantis... which includes medical care for all and free education.  Okay, so you 1%ers will have to downsize your five-thousand square feet homes down to something more manageable like, say a forty-five-thousand square foot bungalow.  I mean, how many rooms does your kid's hamster need?

The Tale

According to the Egyptians, or rather what Plato described Critias reporting what his grandfather was told by Solon who heard it from the Egyptians, once upon a time, there was a mighty power based on an island in the Atlantic Ocean. This empire was called Atlantis, and it ruled over several other islands and parts of the continents of Africa and Europe.

Atlantis was arranged in concentric rings of alternating water and land. The soil was rich, said Critias, the engineers technically accomplished, the architecture extravagant with baths, harbor installations, and barracks. The central plain outside the city had canals and a magnificent irrigation system. Atlantis had kings and a civil administration, as well as an organized military. Their rituals matched Athens for bull-baiting, sacrifice, and prayer.

But then it waged an unprovoked imperialistic war on the remainder of Asia and Europe. When Atlantis attacked, Athens showed its excellence as the leader of the Greeks, the much smaller city-state the only power to stand against Atlantis. Alone, Athens triumphed over the invading Atlantean forces, defeating the enemy, preventing the free from being enslaved, and freeing those who had been enslaved.

After the battle, there were violent earthquakes and floods, and Atlantis sank into the sea, and all the Athenian warriors were swallowed up by the earth.

So there you have it boys and girls, sounds a little like the Russian/Ukraine war going on right now.  I guess Plato was right when he said, "Only the dead have seen the end of war."
