| The view of the moon and planets outside my window, 4am. |
| The SkyView application defining the scene. |
I woke up at 4am last night, the kitchen and patio lights which are on a motion sensor, were on. So I walked into the kitchen and looked out the window. That's how I happened to look up at the sky and saw the Moon, Jupiter, and Mars aligned together, staring down to me from my bedroom window like they have many lifetimes now. I used my SkyView application to confirm that the stars beside the moon were indeed the planets Jupiter and Mars.
What does this mean?
Well, an internet search shows:
An alignment or conjunction of the Moon, Jupiter, and Mars blends the archetypal energies of emotion, expansion, and drive. In esoteric, astrological, and metaphysical traditions, this combination creates a potent window for inner transformation, intentional action, and emotional clarity.
Core Esoteric Meanings of the Individual Archetypes:
An alignment or conjunction of the Moon, Jupiter, and Mars blends the archetypal energies of emotion, expansion, and drive. In esoteric, astrological, and metaphysical traditions, this combination creates a potent window for inner transformation, intentional action, and emotional clarity.
Core Esoteric Meanings of the Individual Archetypes:
The Moon (Intuition, Inner World, and Cycles): Representing the subconscious, feelings, memory, and the receptive/feminine principle, the Moon governs how we process safety, instinct, and emotional truth.
Jupiter (Expansion, Abundance, and Wisdom): Known as the "greater benefic" in occult and astrological traditions, Jupiter rules growth, higher philosophy, optimism, luck, and the broadening of horizons.
Mars (Action, Willpower, and Fire): Representing the masculine or dynamic principle, Mars governs courage, assertion, physical energy, passion, and the power to break through obstacles.
The Combined Esoteric & Metaphysical Significance
When these three bodies converge in the sky, their distinct energetic currents merge into a synergistic force:
Emotion Meets Expansion (Moon + Jupiter): This pairing amplifies intuition, deep spiritual faith, and emotional generosity. It opens a channel to look at personal or emotional patterns with a wider, more optimistic perspective rather than shrinking into fear or old habits.
Drive Meets Abundance (Mars + Jupiter): Often associated with enterprise, bold initiatives, and philosophical or social advancement, this pairing sparks high motivation. It bridges Jupiter's grand vision with Mars's capacity to execute, making it an ideal window for ambitious goals.
Grounded Action from the Subconscious (Moon + Mars): The Moon softens or agitates Mars's raw, fiery edge, turning blind impulse into emotionally-charged, purposeful determination—though it can also surface inner impatience or irritability if feelings are unexpressed.
What does all this mean, on the eve of midterm elections in the USA? Well, I think it's bad news for the machoism party in power and positive for the feminine party out of power.
On another note, this is the beginning of the Age of Aquarius. I've written before about the masculine backlash of the Age of Picese with President Trump and his "Man Party."
Remember the song "Age of Aquarius" from the 60's. It so happened to begin with the lyrics:
And Jupiter aligns with Mars
Then peace will guide the planets
And love will steer the stars
[Chorus]
This is the dawning of the age of Aquarius
Age of Aquarius
Aquarius
Aquarius
It's here folks!
