So it is the 19th of February, a day that will live in infamy. This is the day that Franklin Roosevelt issued Executive Order 9066 authorizing the forced relocation of persons of Japanese descent living on the West Coast into internment camps. Most of the men, women, and children covered by the edict were naturalized or American-born citizens. Fast forward to now, did you know that there still are prisoners at Guantanamo prison. Some put there based on bullshit information by informants wanting the "Dick Chaney" bounty money. At last count there are still 40 who have never been convicted of anything.
No wonder Donald Trump is now president and using the US Justice department to find poop on his political rivals. No wonder after his reelection every state in the US will probably have its own Guantanamo Internment camps for liberals like me. But you don't care about that, you're an American. You want to know the important stuff like who's going to win the World Series now that the Houston Astros aren't allowed to cheat.
Sooner or later in life, we will all take our own turn being in the position we once had someone else in.
