Here's how they win.
First, need I remind you that around this time in 2004, then President George Bush was losing in the polls to his opponent John Kerry by 12 points; then, as now with Biden and Trump, it looked like the Republican incompetent -- oppsss, I meant: incumbent -- would lose by a landslide. Then, as now, it was a deceptive ploy to keep you comfortably numb because you are a liberal who would rather sit under a tree reading Robert Browning or attending a F**k It retreat in Italy than voting for a U.S. president. By making you believe that your vote isn't needed they keep you away from the long voting lines that surprisingly seem to favor Democratic leaning cities - hmmmm. Besides bullshit polls, the other thing they do is write bullshit news articles to discourage you like this recent article in Politico which is titled:
The left gets rolled on legalizing pot — and legal protections for cops
Articles like this are meant to remind you that we're not getting a real liberal, but another Republican Moderate who has found a home in the Democratic party. So the next time you read an article saying Biden isn't "liberal" enough or really fighting for our cause, remember that's how they keep you home. Don't fall for it, vote for Joe Biden because we can get our liberal policies during his long naps, and they know it!
Hooray for Sleepy Joe Biden!

Why I Am A Liberal
"Why?" Because all I haply can and do,
All that I am now, all I hope to be,--
Whence comes it save from fortune setting free
Body and soul the purpose to pursue,
God traced for both? If fetters, not a few,
Of prejudice, convention, fall from me,
These shall I bid men--each in his degree
Also God-guided--bear, and gayly, too?
But little do or can the best of us:
That little is achieved through Liberty.
Who, then, dares hold, emancipated thus,
His fellow shall continue bound? Not I,
Who live, love, labour freely, nor discuss
A brother's right to freedom. That is "Why."

Body and soul the purpose to pursue,
God traced for both? If fetters, not a few,
