So on this day that Donald Trump's Dirty-Deed's man testifies and most likely tells us the truth about Trump that we already know: the truth that Trump is a liar, racist and womanizer, I am heartened to remember that this is the anniversary of the Fire in the Reichstag. Yes, that incident by a Working Class Man who started the fire "as a suitable method to get back at the rampant injustices of Capitalism" -- and this was back when the top 1% only had about 50% of everything. This fire allowed the Nazi leader Adolf Hitler to blame the fire on the Communist (Mexicans South of the Boarder of their time) and gave Hitler unprecedented powers which allowed him to eventually murder millions of people out of his hate.
Today, we have a similar Fire in the Reichstag. It is Donald Trump's request to use the Emergency Act to get money to build a wall on the boarder with Mexico. For two-years when Trump had a Republican Congress and Senate and couldn't get approval for his wall because everyone knew it was a waste of money, now wants to build it anyway without approval from the Congress and Senate. What's next?
Well, one day after the Reichstag fire Hitler implemented his decree suspended the right to assembly, freedom of speech, freedom of the press, and other constitutional protections, including all restraints on police investigations.
In other words: he used the same "emergency powers" that the Republican's are now allowing Trump to use.
Our history of a Nazis States of America begins here. Thanks Republicans!
